Only single matches will be held for men and women separately.
General Hall rules
* Proper sports clothes and hall shoes are only allowed.
* Smoking, Eating and Drinking inside the hall is strictly prohibited.
Match Format
* Best of 3 games.(For final match only: 5 games)
* First to win 2 games wins the match. (For final match: 3 games)
Scoring
* Each game is played to 11 points (Even the opponent has 0 point).
* You must win by at least 2 points (e.g., 11–9, 12–10).
* A point is scored on every rally, regardless of who served.
Serving Rules
* Players alternate serves every 2 points.
* At 10–10 (deuce), serve alternates after every point.
* Legal serve
-Toss the ball vertically up from an open palm.
-Strike the ball behind the end line.
-Ball must bounce first on your side, then on the opponent’s
* Net serve (ball hits net but lands correctly) = replay the point.
When you lose a point
* Ball does not land on the opponent's side.
* You miss the ball completely.
* Ball bounces twice on your side.
* You hit the ball before it bounces on your side.
* You touch the table with your non-playing hand.
* You move the table or net.
* Your body touches the ball (fingers holding the bat is allowed).
Changing sides
* Players switch sides after each game.
* In the 3rd game (if played), switch sides when one player reaches 5 points.
Sportsmanship
* Follow fair play and respect your opponent.
* Disputes should be resolved by a referee or mutual agreement.
* Referee’s decision will be the final decision.
Under 18 participants
* Participants under 18 may participate only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
* Parents are responsible for their children during the event..
